KITESURFING COMPLETE COURSE

ON LAND

• Theory of winds.
• Theory of flight.
• Assembly and disassembly of kitesurf equipment.
• Know and understand each part of the kite, bar and its safety systems.
• Sequence of control exercises on land, walk through the sand with the kite safely and acquire good control with it.
• Kite take off and landing as a kiter and as an assistant.

IN WATER

• Move with the kite both on the sand and on the water, in a totally controlled and independent way.
• Enter the water and pass the break, controlling the kite independently.
• Body drag (downwind): exercise in which we learn to push ourselves with the kite with coordination sliding through the water with our body.
• Techniques for taking off the kite from the water due to a fall, activation of the quick release or having released the control bar.
• Self-rescue technique in different situations.

IN WATER WITH BOARD

• Water start: step by step theory in situ from the sand.
• Learn and practice technique to put the board on our feet, the body posture we adopt.
• Raise and lower the kite in the water with the board at your feet and adopting the water start posture.
• Learn and practice standing on the board and starting to sail.
• Learn to live together in community: international communication signs, navigation rules for kitesurfing.
• Caring for the environment and methods to minimize environmental aggression (recycling, longer life of our sail …)
